This now 15-year-old sensation comes from our little-ol’ hometown of Loganville, GA, and we couldn’t be more proud to share the same zip code with this outstanding young lady. Among Moriah’s accomplishments are several North America Country Music Associations International (NACMAI) awards, including: the 2008 “Horizon Award” for Best New Female Vocalist, 2008 Horizon Award for Best New Female Country Entertainer, 2008 Best New Country Songwriter of the Year (“In Too Deep”) and the 2008 Best New Patriotic song (“America, The Beacon of Freedom”), and the 2008 Best New Country Holiday Song (“For Mary’s Baby Boy”).

If that’s not impressive enough, Moriah Martin has also taken home several Georgia Country & Gospel Music Association (GCGMA) awards for Top Teen Country Artist, CD of the Year, and many more. And the most amazing thing is that this talented lady is just getting started.

Moriah joined us for Nick Sommers’ two-year “Nixterversary” show in April 2008 and was an absolute joy to have with us. We’re hoping she stops back again sometime soon, particularly since we’re practically neighbors ‘n’ all.
