Alan Jackson "Sissy's Song"

So Does Country Music have room for both "She's Country" and "Sissy's Song", Alan Jackson's new song about a household employee that died suddenly? To me, one of the things that makes Country Music so great is the diversity that the Genre produces and welcomes in. Country doesn't get enough credit for that, and "Sissy's song" will prove that, yeah country's gone pop, but the best songs still get through, even if they sound just as at home in a small town church or a 50,00o seat auditorium. "Sissy's Song" is such a beautiful and simple song. I'm not sure Alan Jackson keeps writing such perfect songs year after year. I'm glad to see Alan Jackson release "Sissy's Song" next on his "Good Time" Cd, and I hope it goes just as far as the other 3 have.

Alan Jackson - "Sissy's Song" Lyrics
Why did she have to go So young I just don't know why Things happen half the time Without reason without rhyme Lovely, sweet young woman Daughter, wife and mother Makes no sense to me I just have to believe. She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting And I know she's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me. Loved ones she left behind Just trying to survive And understand the why Feeling so lost inside Anger shot straight at God Then asking for His love Empty with disbelief Just hoping that maybe. She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting And I know she's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me. It's hard to say goodbye Her picture in my mind They'll always be of times I'll cherish And I won't cry 'cause. She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And she walks with jesus and her loved ones waiting And I know she's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me. Don't worry 'bout me. Don't worry 'bout me...

I like this song and I you are GOOD SING AND I I WONT TO MEET YOU
This song was written for my daughter, Susan, who died August 10, 2006 at the age of 35.
Ms. Fitzgibbons, I’m so sorry for your loss. Would you like me to add a photo and some words about her up on this page so people will know a little bit more about Susan?
