Brantley Gilbert

If you know anything about the Georgia Country Music Scene, you've no doubt heard of Jefferson's own Brantley Gilbert.  If you're looking to find the epitome of new Country, Gilbert is a great start.

He just revamped his website, and his iTunes release of Modern Day Prodigal Son has remained in the top 200 downloads since its debut in September.  This is an album that was produced at least 2 years ago, and its still building steam.

One listen, and you can see why.  The lyrics are raw and honest, and Brantley Gilbert is a showman for sure.  The CD is great, but you really need to check out Brantley Gilbert live

  1. This disc is extremely disappointing, and in no way reflects the band’s live performance. It plays more as a songwriter putting his songs down in hopes of attracting attention from someone else to take the songs and give them some life. Not that the band is filled with stellar players, but the hired guns brought in to whip the album in to shape can barely be heard.

  2. Phenomenal talent!! If you have the opportunity to meet Brantley, you’ll find that he is as honest as the songs he writes. I expect big things from TBGB in the future and the new record due in early February will push this band into the national spotlight with such songs as “Kick’in it in the Sticks”, “Hell on wheels”, “Saving Amy” and the title track “Halfway to Heaven”.

Keep rock’in boys and we’ll see ya’ll in the spring
