Is Jason Michael Carroll's new song just a cliche? "Where I'm From" may have been overdone for some, but Carrol's 1st release from his Sophomore Album will likely keep him on the charts for at least the next year.
I've heard it. "It sure does sound like a lot of Country Music we've heard". "Where I'm From" does one thing that southerners in particular and "Joe Six-Pack"s everywhere love to hear. That's a country boy telling somebody with an Armani suit where its at. Say what you want, but Country Music listeners want to hear this story. Country Music made the decision to go pop, and maybe that's the wrong decision. I wish it was the 90s again too. Country music will cycle around again, and we'll get honesty and trouble we expect from the genre. Until then, you'll hear more songs like Jason Michael Carroll's new one, "Where I'm From"
