An up-and-comer for sure, Lee Brice is cut from the some mold as many of today’s young country love crooners. A vocalist and a true country lyricist, Brice’s latest single is sure to be a late summer hit.

“Love Like Crazy,” from a yet to be determined upcoming album, is Brice’s fifth single since 2007 and is sure to gain substantial airplay and video traffic. The song is a building and climbing love song about an old man and some life lessons.

In the same mold as “Waiting On a Woman” by Brad Paisley or “People Are Crazy” by Billy Currington, the song is a look at life by one who has lived it. A common and a popular theme in country music, Brice capitalizes on the lessons lived and loved by country fans, and takes a sentimental look at the advice from someone who has lived and loved all of them..

Lee Brice wants us to Love Like Crazy

Brice shows off a strong vocal, which is at the same time sweet and powerful. He bellows over a strong guitar vocal and some crashing drums and the rocker comes off as a ballad that could have come from the songbook of a band like Live or Creed. A true compliment in the repertoire of any country act, “Love Like Crazy” follows on the heels of three top 50 songs from Lee Brice since 2007.

The singer is also one of the top songwriters in today’s country music scene, and has had a hand in writing a number of top songs in the past couple years, including Garth Brook’s enormous hit “More Than a Memory.” Brice was also responsible for the penmanship behind Adam Gregory’s “Crazy Days.”

The South Carolina singer, though relatively unknown, is looking to establish a name for himself along with the top up and comers in the country world, and he is blazing a path early with “Love Like Crazy.”
