Country music has a plentiful history of skilled duos and duet partners from icons like Porter Wagner and Dolly Parton, George Jones and Tammy Wynette to more recent powerful partnerships like Sugarland and Brooks and Dunn. Aiming to join the elite pack of talented twosomes, Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones, more commonly known to fans as Steel Magnolia, the second season winners of the CMT hit reality show 'Can You Duet?', are releasing their debut single with Big Machine Records into radio circulation.

exchange heartfelt promises to help ease each other's minds and 'keep on lovin' one another come what may.

Based on the lyrics, 'Keep On Lovin' You' could easily become one of the countless, trite duets about pure, blossoming love that have come and gone on the country charts. But the mid-tempo contains a mild grit from the beginning when kicked off by Jones' vocals that grows by leaps and bounds into a full-fledged swagger when Linsey joins him with her powerhouse pipes, that possess a rock-blues lilt similar to the great Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt, that keep the track interesting.

With the swelling of the song into a catchy chorus and added steel guitar licks, both Jones and Linsey manage to hold their own and present a memorable and definable performance. And despite the fact that the single was recorded in a studio, the two voices behind Steel Magnolia are still able to encapsulate the rare, magnetic energy that comes with a live performance that makes you feel like you are sitting in a club or bar in Nashville listening to a duo who are not only singers but true artists in the making.
